Shikaribetsu Kohan Onsen Hotel Fusui, Shikaoi (Kato)

I stayed in a corner room with a 270-degree view of the lake. Even though it was foggy during my visit, the sight of the serene lake was captivating. The room was spacious, and I loved that it was designed traditionally with a Japanese touch, which made my experience feel authentic and cozy.

The meals I had at the hotel's restaurant were good! The quantity was impressive, especially during dinner when I had the chance to try a kaiseki style meal that boasted a variety of dishes. Breakfast was just as satisfying, leaving me full and happy each morning with tasty, hearty options.

The onsen was a highlight of my stay! The outdoor section provided stunning views of the lake, and despite the cold weather, the water was pleasantly warm. It was a peaceful setting to unwind after a day of exploring the igloo village. I also appreciated the cleanliness and maintenance of the onsen facilities.

During my visit, I was thrilled to find there were evening events nearby, including a piano concert at the ice bar located on the frozen lake. The entire experience was magical, and it was conveniently close to the hotel, making it easy to attend effortlessly.
